Canon has announced a new camera Power Shot G12, representing the first model of the G-series, which employs a system of Canon HS.
The system consists of a highly sensitive 10.0-megapixel CCD-matrix and CPU performance DIGIC 4, which, according to developers, provides high quality images even in low light conditions.
The camera can set the ISO value up to 12 800, and quickly moving objects can be removed at a rate 4.2 frames per second.
Novelty is equipped with a wide-angle (28 mm) lens with a 5-fold optical zoom and optical image stabilizer also. In addition to the Power Shot G12 is implemented technology Canon Hybrid IS to increase the efficiency of the optical image stabilization in macro mode (minimum focusing distance - 1 cm).
Camera is equipped with 2.8-inch LCD screen Pure Color II with a variable angle, the front control dial and multi-functional control dial on the rear panel.
Power Shot G12 supports video capture at 720p, at a speed of 24 frames / s with stereo sound.
