Intel introduce technology to address explosive Internet traffic

Intel bring in Chile's new family of Intel Xeon E5-2600, which offers extraordinary performance in the market, the best performance for data center and hardware features to allow safe and reliable growth of Information Technology. This technology seeks to support the extraordinary increase in the flow of data in the cloud, which will continue to rise exponentially in the short term, whose projection is over 3 billion users online in 2015.The global scenario has changed. In 1996, the U.S. represented 66% of the world with Internet access.

Currently, the number had fallen to 13%, since all continents are encouraging early adoption to the Internet, which has led to explosive growth of online traffic.
Intel talks about an impact of 15 billion connected devices for three years, plus an annual 33% increase in the number of global IP traffic in the data center, exceeding 4.8 zeta bytes per year, more than 3 times compared to amount of 2011. With these high levels of content generation, each connected user will generate more than 4GB of data traffic each day, equivalent to a four-hour film in high definition.

This situation led Intel to develop a suitable technology that allows support this large amount of information stored in the cloud. This is the new family of Intel Xeon E5-2600, which will advance and growth of IT in the world and in Latin America, as have the characteristics of high performance, lower power consumption, broadband I / O and security.
