Western Digital announces new WD TV – Personal Edition


The good people over Western Digital are at it again, having announced the all new WD TV – Personal Edition. The WD TV – Personal Edition happens to be an easy to use Wi-Fi enabled media player which is capable of playing just about any media file that is stored on USB as well as network storage devices, or any other computer on the home network.
Considering how consumers these days tend to have growing libraries of disparate personal content types on a variety of storage devices, which range from portable USB to network attached storage and personal computers, this unique addition would be able to help personalize the entertainment experience in order to provide the easiest way for consumers to enjoy a playback all of their personal videos, photos and music.
