Google has announced their own laptop Cr-48, running Chrome OS. Google and represents the ultraportables with 12.1-inch display. The notebook, equipped with full-size keyboard, touchpad, webcam and SSD-drive, equipped with wireless Wi-Fi module and dual-Gobi chipset for network CDMA / UMTS.
Claimed battery life up to 8 hours. The same amount the notebook can survive in the standby mode. Weighs laptop, made in a simple black case, about 1,7 kg.
While in the pilot program, Google Cr-48 will only be available in the United States.
