ASUS has demonstrated at CeBIT 2011 an unusual Tablet PC Eee Pad Transformer, built on a hardware platform nVidia Tegra second-generation dual-core ARM-processor. The tablet, which operates under the control of OS Android 3.0 (HoneyComb), equipped with a touchscreen 10.1-inch capacitive display with 1280 × 800 pixels, 512 megabytes or 1 gigabyte of RAM and flash memory storage capacity of 16, 32 or 64 GB.
New modules equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology and Wi-Fi, memory card slot MicroSD, stereo speakers, two cameras with 1,2 - and 5-megapixel, USB 2.0 port and a connector HDMI.
At a thickness of 12.9 mm and weighs about 680 grams gadget.
Go to the tablet can be purchased a special docking station with a QWERTY-keyboard, turns the device into a full notebook and extends up to 16 hours.
Eee Pad Transformer will be available in April for € 400 (with Wi-Fi-adapter and 16 GB) or € 700 (with 3G-module and the drive to 64 GB).
