Motorola has introduced a simplified version of the Tablet PC, Xoom, devoid of 3G-embedded module for use in cellular networks. For wireless data transfer device left modules only Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.
Other features of the tablet does not differ from the 3G-version. The device is equipped with a gigahertz processor, flash drives in 32 GB, 2-megapixel camera for video calls, the main 5-megapixel camera, a gyroscope, a light sensor, 10.1-inch display with 1280 × 800 pixels.
The operating system uses Android version 3.0 (Honeycomb).
Xoom Wi-Fi will go on sale March 27 for about $ 600, $ 100 cheaper than 3G-model.
