Communicator HTC HD2 get Windows Mobile 7 for free, but not before November

It is known that the firmware upgrade to version 7 for Windows Mobile communicator HTC HD2 will be available for free download. This was reported in an email from High Tech Computer (HTC) to one of the visitors forum xda-developers.

According to the Technical Support Division, HTC, Windows Mobile operating system version 7 is not ready yet and, accordingly, update the firmware for the HTC HD2 - too.
Once it appears, but it will not happen before November, it can be downloaded free of charge.

However, according to recent data, release Windows Mobile 7 may be postponed until early next year. Therefore, HTC HD2 can not get a firmware update in November, it could well happen later. By the way, HTC Twitter on his blog late last year also made a similar statement on the issue of a free firmware update for the HTC HD2 as exit Windows Mobile 7, but this record has since been removed.
